Main agenda items for the October 29, 2013 meeting include the following but may be modified at such meeting:

  • Action on minutes of the last two meetings.
  • Preview of the upcoming telephone survey of talking book and Braille borrowers.
  • Ideas for outreach. Including prospects for a booth during Older Nebraskans Day at the State Fair.
  • We now have two PSAs for radio. They can be heard at TBBS Press. What is your reaction to them?
  • The Library of Congress site for direct downloads of books and magazines is known as BARD. Library of Congress recently released an app for BARD. After we demonstrate the app, let’s discuss approaches to promoting both BARD and its app.
  • Thank you to committee members completing terms of service.
