Cataloging Services
* * Participation limited to Nebraska residents or those employed by a Nebraska library * *
The Nebraska Library Commission Cataloging Certificate Program encourages technical services library staff from
all types of libraries to
learn more about cataloging and improve their skills through a series of
online classes. Two levels of certificates are available: Basic and Advanced. These
certificates show current and future Nebraska employers that you have practical and
up-to-date skills in technical services.
The Nebraska Library Commission Cataloging Certificate Program
does not replace the Public Librarian Certification Program but is a separate
program to recognize staff from all library types for continuing education in
cataloging skills. However, all
classes may also be applied to Continuing Education hours.
