Nebraska Memories – The Easy Way
Basic Information
Please be sure to read the
Introduction to Participating in Nebraska Memories for the specific steps in
the process.
The following two forms must be completed by
every institution that participates in Nebraska Memories.
Item Information(Metadata)
Participants are required to provide basic information about each item that
will be added to the database. This descriptive information is called
Metadata. To help participants gather the needed information we have
created two template options for recording this information: 1) an EZ Metadata

The Commission uses information provided to make
complete metadata records that will be added to Nebraska Memories. The following are two examples of completed EZ Metadata
document forms.
