Michael LaCroix, of
Omaha, to a three-year term on the Nebraska Library
Commission.
LaCroix is Director of the Reinert-Alumni Memorial Library at
Creighton University. He formerly served as library director at
Greensboro College and Wingate University in North Carolina, and at
Albright College in Pennsylvania. He has served on the Nebraska
State Advisory Council on Libraries-including a term as council
chair-and also served on the North Carolina State Advisory Council
on Libraries. LaCroix was elected to the board of directors of the
American Library Association's Association of College and Research

the NLA College and University section.
As Nebraska's state library agency, the Nebraska Library Commission
is an advocate for the library and information needs of all
Nebraskans. The mission of the Library Commission is statewide
promotion, development, and coordination of library and information
services-"bringing together people and information."
