SESSION I: 10-10:50 am Michael Sauers, Director of Technology at Do Space, http://www.dospace.org/
Presenting on Do Space a one-of-a-kind concept: it’s a community technology library, a digital workshop and an innovation playground filled with new opportunities to learn, grow, explore and create.

SESSION II: 11-11:50 am Emily Dust Nimsakont, Head of Cataloging & Resource Management, Schmid Law Library, UNL
Emily's presentation is on RDA (Resource Description & Access) for non-tech services librarians and paraprofessionals, in other words, for lay people

SESSION III: 12-12:50 am Erica Rose, Library Science Instructor at University of Nebraska-Omaha
Presenting on Skills and Dispositions for 21st Century Librarians

PARAPROFESSIONAL'S SPRING GENERAL MEETING 1:00-1:45 p.m.
Sara Nelson, Paraprofessional Chair, will guide us through our annual spring meeting.
Those who have paid for lunch at one of the sites will have lunch at this time. If you prefer, you may bring your own lunch.

 
LIVE WEBINAR FORMAT
Our online live webinar format is designed to allow participants to “attend” the meeting conveniently from their own desks.
All you need is an internet connection. Get together with colleagues or watch on your own.
Group viewings will be held in locations listed below, or other get-togethers will be arranged upon request and listed below as they come up.

Early Bird Special Discounted Registration Deadline is Saturday, Feb. 13, 2016
Regular Registration Deadline is Tuesday, March 8, 2016

**Lunch will be served at these sites (at NLC or Bellevue) during the Paraprofessional Spring General Meeting.
We will have a choice of delectable sandwiches from Jimmy John's, including chips, and cookies.
You may bring your own lunch/snacks if you prefer and stay for the meeting from 1:00-1:45 p.m.

NOTES:

No refunds.
Continuing Education (CE) credits will be 3 hours for the day. You must view all three sessions.
After the Spring Meeting, links to the three sessions will be posted for online viewing and an email will be sent out as to the location.
