Transforming Teen Services: Computational Thinking, Connected Learning, and YOU! - Lincoln

Description
Join Laura England-Biggs and Sally Snyder to learn more about Computational Thinking, Connected Learning, and Teens. How do we use these concepts to enhance our programming for this age group? Our workshop is designed for library staff who work with teens, but all people are welcome to attend. Laura England-Biggs, Youth Services Librarian at Keene Memorial Library, and Sally Snyder, Coordinator of Children and Young Adult Library Services at the Nebraska Library Commission, recently attended training provided by YALSA to present this workshop for librarians and others in our state. We will give introductions about Computational Thinking, Connected Learning, and how to plan and work more intentionally with teens.

Sign-in is at 10:00 a.m. and the workshop begins at 10:30.
