|Digital Literacy goes by many names, and means different things to different people. This online course is about defining digital literacy in your own words, using tangible examples that are relevant to the people in your own community. Together, we will explore existing digital literacy frameworks, and dig deeper into categories like online privacy and security, online finance and business, communication, finding and evaluating information, online etiquette and more. Look at the big picture, then choose materials for a specific target audience. Personalize digital literacy!
Class starts on May 25, 2020, and all assignments must be completed by July 19, 2020.
This course is open only to Nebraska library staff. Registration is still open - contact Amanda Sweet to join the class in progress.
