The Nebraska Library Commission is closed for the following Nebraska state holidays. When a holiday falls on a Saturday, the preceding Friday is observed as the holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following Monday is observed as the holiday.

  • Arbor Day - Last Friday in April
  • Memorial Day - Last Monday in May
  • Juneteenth National Independence Day - June 19
