2004 State Aid to Public Libraries in Nebraska

The formula** for direct state aid to public libraries for 2004 is as follows:

5,000 and Above** $0.18 per capita
Incentive aid for libraries that receive additional tax-based funding from a public entity 1% of the amount of additional funding

*For purposes of state aid payments, service population is that of the main funding source, based on 2000 census figures.

**Formulas for some libraries are adjusted for maximum eligible payments.
