Braille E-Reader

Contact your Reader Advisor to request a no-cost refreshable braille display. The Utah State Library Program for the Blind and Disabled (ULBD) provides and manages these devices for Nebraska patrons. As such, ULBD currently provides all troubleshooting assistance for the e-readers.

Onyx Magnifier

Provided by the Nebraska Commission for the Blind and Visually Impaired (NCBVI). Please contact your local public library for availability. NCBVI will also provide assistance with the equipment: Call (877) 809-2419 or (402) 471-2891, or visit the NCBVI website.

U.S. Currency Reader Program

Free currency reader, also known as the "iBill", provided by the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP). Currency Reader device applications are available here. Alternatively, BEP also provides meaningful access for the blind through mobile device applications; more information is available on their website here.
