There is no exact deadline for which to return your magazines. However, we strongly encourage you to return your magazines as soon as you finish them, as this ensures that you will be sent the latest issue in a timely fashion.
State Library-Produced Magazines (which include both Nebraska-recorded magazines and those recorded in studios at other regional libraries or organizations) issues will arrive as a mint green cartridge in an gray case.
Nationally-Produced Magazines (which are produced by National Library Service) will arrive as a peach cartridge in a clear-white container. The magazine cartridges will be identical to the book cartridges (if you also recieve books). Inserting the cartridge in the player will announce whether the first item is a magazine issue or a book title. At this moment, books and magazines are not sent on the same cartridge.
Note: Nationally-Produced audio magazines are also available for download on the Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) service.
