Frank L. Haller
Omaha Public Library, Governor appointee
Governor Charles Dietrich appointed Mr. Haller to the first Nebraska Public Library Commission board of commissioners in 1901. He served in that capacity until 1916. He represented the Commission at the American Library Association meeting in Waukesha with Mr. Wyer in June of 1901. He was president of the Lininger Implement Company for many years and served on the Board of Regents of the State University. He was elected president of the Nebraska Public Library Commission board of commissioners in 1906, a position he held until 1916.
