Nebraska Center for the Book Seeking Book Discussion and Writing Groups

More than one hundred groups in twenty-five communities across Nebraska, from Scottsbluff to Bellevue and from north to south, have responded to an initial survey of Nebraska's book discussion and writing groups, thus far. The Nebraska Center for the Book (NCB) is an affiliate of the National Center for the Book in the Library of Congress.

A component of the Nebraska Center for the Book's mission is to serve as a catalyst, bringing together Nebraska's community of the book. The NCB invites book discussion and writing groups to help create a more complete assessment of these activities, as it promotes and supports readers and writers and facilitates their local and statewide networking.

Book discussion or writing groups that have not yet been reached are encouraged to send the name and address of a contact person to Mel Krutz, 2625 Bluff Rd., Seward, NE 68434, e-mail: ck34938@navix.net by April 30. Additional information will be sent to each group.
